December 14: Advent Retreat

Marian Advent Retreat & Art Workshop

Join us for a day of prayer, reflection, and creativity as we celebrate the
Blessed Virgin Mary. Deepen your observance of Advent by contemplating
​Mary's role in salvation history as the Mother of God. ​

• 10:30 AM PART 1: Meditation with Fr. Thomas Fetz, OFM Conv. on the Angelus and Marian hymnody in the church.
• 12:00 PM  A simple lunch in the parish center lower level. $10 suggested donation.
• 1:00 PM PART 2: Illumination Workshop with Sarah Crow in the parish center 3rd floor studio. $50 materials fee.
• 5:00 PM  End​

​Workshop participants will create a 15th century Florentine-style illuminated letter "M" with Marian symbols using paint and shell gold. This illumination makes a great gift for Christmas!

​Both parts of the retreat are optional. Attendees are welcome to register for one or both. Register by clicking the button below. Space is limited!
