Beginning on March 7, Bilingual Stations of the Cross will be hosted on most Fridays of Lent (see poster for exact dates) at St. Ita church (5500 N. Broadway). The Stations of the Cross, also known as the Way of the Cross, commemorate Jesus's passion and death on the cross. There are 14 stations that each depict a moment on his journey to Calvary. At each station, prayers and reflections are offered as the congregation meditates on Christs suffering and his great love for us. This is an appropriate way to prepare ourselves for the coming of Holy Week which concludes with Easter Sunday on April 20. *Please check the dates carefully, not every Friday in Lent will have Stations of the Cross./*Por favor revise bien las fechas, no todos los viernes de Cuaresma tendremos el Vía Crucis.
