The Vietnamese community invites all to celebrate the Lunar New Year, or Tet, at St. Thomas of Canterbury church (4827 N. Kenmore) on Sunday, February 15. The day will begin with Mass in Vietnamese at 8 AM followed by a full festival and feast. Come for good food and games! Vietnamese Lunar New Year is one of the most important festivals in Vietnam. During Tet, people return to their hometown, visit their families and relatives, reward themselves some relaxing days after a hard-working year, and celebrate the new year with plenty of customs and festive activities. El Año Nuevo Lunar vietnamita es una de las festividades más importantes de Vietnam.
