We continued our preparations for Christmas with the Filipino Advent tradition of Simbang Gabi! Filipino immigrants have proudly introduced this beautiful tradition to the Church in the United States, and it has become a much-anticipated annual celebration at our parish. We hosted Simbang Gabi Mass on Saturday, December 20 at St. Gregory the Great church followed by joyful reception full of food and fun! At the reception, the Filipino Committee President Armi Jasmin gave our pastor Fr. Alejandro Lopez a donation check for the parish. We are very grateful to the Filipino Community for fundraised all year on behalf of Mary, Mother of God Parish.
