Volunteer Spotlight: Soup Kitchen

“I volunteer at the soup kitchen to contribute to the Uptown community while incorporating the tenets of Catholic Social Justice in my life. It’s a privilege to work with other parishioners, many of whom who have been dedicating their time at St. Thomas for years, maintaining the Kitchen’s spirit of giving and charity in service to others. Some of my favorite parts of volunteering at the kitchen are beginning each dinner with a prayer and welcoming each guest with a dessert before they find their seat to be served a full meal.”
