St. Gregory's Hall: A Home for Catholic Culture

St. Gregory's Hall: A Home for Catholic Culture is a ministry that draws on the history of evangelization through beauty at St. Gregory the Great. This ministry was formed as part of the Renew My Church process that established Mary, Mother of God parish in 2020.

We chose the name St. Gregory’s Hall: A Home for Catholic Culture for several reasons:

Why the new name? We wanted to choose a name that reflected our mission of evangelization and community. Thank you to all of the parishioners who filled out our survey, providing valuable input and feedback.

Why St. Gregory? The patron of our church, St. Gregory’s life exemplifies the works of mercy, a love of the liturgy, and the preservation of our faith and tradition in tumultuous times.

Why Hall? We want our center to provide a sense of belonging and being together. Not just another institution or ministry, it is a place for parishioners to deepen their faith, friendship, and community.

A Home for Catholic Culture? Like plants in a garden, culture must be cultivated. Through prayer, catechesis and intellectual formation, St. Gregory’s Hall will plant, water, and harvest the riches of our shared Catholic heritage and tradition to more fully live out the Gospel and more effectively evangelize the world.
