Our parish’s "Becoming Catholic" group welcomes adult converts to the Catholic faith. Formerly called RCIA, this program is for people who are seeking to become members of the Catholic Church, both baptized Christians of other denominations and those who have never been baptized.
It provides education and formation on living a Christian life, with reception into the Church at Easter. People can enter the group at any time. We offer two sessions, one on Sunday afternoons and one Monday nights. For more information, call the Parish Office at 773-561-5343 and ask for Fr. Thomas or email the group. Sacraments of Initiation Adults who were baptized as Catholics but never received the sacraments of First Confession, First Communion, and/or Confirmation should also enroll in the Becoming Catholic group. Please call the Parish Office at 773-561-5343 for more information. Children over age seven who have been baptized a Catholic and wish to receive these sacraments should have their parents contact Candido Reyna, coordinator of religious education, at 773-443-7263 or via email. |
