Soup Kitchen

5:30-6:30 PM

The Soup Kitchen is located at St. Thomas of Canterbury church and serves warm meals to guests every Tuesday and Friday evening.
VOLUNTEER:
If you are interested in volunteering at the soup kitchen, please contact Jennifer, coordinator of outreach volunteers.

  • Financial donations can be made on the parish's GiveCentral page.
  • Food/item donations can be dropped off at the St. Thomas of Canterbury rectory (4833 N. Kenmore) on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 - 3:30 PM.
  • Or check out our wishlist.
    • You can purchase items directly from Amazon or at any other store and ship them to the parish main office (1220 W. Catalpa). 
    • We will also take gently used kitchen tools.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at St. Thomas of Canterbury church provides grocery staples to neighbors in need every Monday and Thursday mornings.​
VOLUNTEER:
We are always looking for volunteers to help patrons shop and to restock shelves. Sign up by emailing our Food Pantry Manager, Br. Ayub Mwenda.
