Thursday, August 17th @ Canterbury House (Rectory Next to St. Thomas of Canterbury) Potluck Meal: 5:30 PM, Discussion starts at 6:30 PM The mission of the Eucharistic Revival is to renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. The vision of the Eucharistic Revival is to inspire a movement of Catholics across the United States who are healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and who are then sent out on mission “for the life of the world.”
Canterbury House is thrilled to be hosting guest speaker Martha Hennessy, member of the New York City Catholic Worker Community that was started by her grandmother, Servant of God Dorothy Day. We will be reflecting on how we can respond to the Eucharistic Revival’s mission and vision in our lives, our parish and our community. We will also be discussing plans/interest for attending the upcoming Eucharistic Congress in July 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Questions? Contact James Murphy via email. |
If you would like to share an announcement (i.e. funeral, Sacrament, anniversary, etc.) with the parish community, please email the parish office. Archives
