Thanks to Bishop Bartosic for being with us to celebrate the feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz and bless our new shrine at St Greg's! Tom Buenvenida, past president of the Filipinos of St. Gregory, and his late wife Connie bought the statue as an addition to a Santacruzan procession three decades ago. The family has generously donated the statue to St. Gregory Church in Connie's honor. Thank you to the Buenvenida family and the Filipinos of St. Gregory for all your contributions to the community!
On Sunday, the parish bade farewell to Fr. Arturo at the 10:30 and 12:30 Masses, with receptions honoring him afterward. Mary, Mother of God was his first assignment as a priest. Thank you, Fr. Arturo, for all you have done for the parish!
