Father's Day Novena 2024

Dear Parishioners:
 
God, the Father, has entrusted each person to the care of an earthly father. Whether he be an actual father or a grandfather, godfather, stepfather, uncle, brother, or trusted friend, God intends this figure to teach us by word and witness of our Lord’s unconditional love.
 
At Mary, Mother of God Parish, we have an opportunity to offer God and our father figures gratitude with the gift of prayer during our annual Father’s Day Novena. 
 
Envelops are available in the back of all three churches for you to enroll your loved ones (living and deceased) in the novena. Those enrolled will be remembered at every Mass throughout Mary, Mother of God Parish and in the Franciscan friars’ daily prayers for the nine days leading up to Father’s Day, from June 8th through June 16th. 
 
No donation is necessary for names to be enrolled in the novena.  You can mail the envelope back to us, drop it off at the parish office, or put it in the collection basket.

Estimados feligreses

Dios, Padre, ha confiado a cada persona el cuidado de un padre terrenal. Ya sea un padre actual o un abuelo, padrino, padrastro, tío, hermano o amigo de confianza, Dios pretende que esta figura nos enseñe con la palabra y el testimonio el amor incondicional de nuestro Señor.

En la Parroquia María, Madre de Dios, tenemos la oportunidad de ofrecer a Dios y a nuestras figuras paternas gratitud con el don de la oración durante nuestra Novena anual del Día de los Padres.  

Se adjunta un sobre para que inscriban a sus seres queridos (vivos y difuntos) en la novena. Los inscritos serán recordados en cada Misa en toda la Parroquia María, Madre de Dios y en las oraciones diarias de los frailes franciscanos durante los nueve días previos al Día del Padre, desde el 8 de junio hasta el 16 de junio.  

Ninguna donación es necesaria para que los nombres sean inscritos en la novena.  Puede enviarnos el sobre por correo, dejarlo en la oficina parroquial o ponerlo en la cesta de la colecta.    

Que tengan un bendecido Día del Padre.

Thiên Chúa, cũng là Chúa Cha, đã giao phó mỗi người chúng ta cho một người cha trần thế để chăm sóc. Cho dù đó là một người cha thực sự hay một ông nội, cha đỡ đầu, cha dượng, chú, anh trai hay người bạn đáng tin cậy, thì Ngài cũng đã có ý định để nhân vật này sẽ giáo dục chúng ta và thể hiện tình yêu vô điều kiện của Chúa chúng ta. 

Tại Giáo xứ Đức Maria, Mẹ Thiên Chúa, chúng ta có cơ hội dâng lên Thiên Chúa và các nhân vật nêu trên của chúng ta lòng biết ơn qua sự cầu nguyện trong Tuần Cửu Nhật Ngày Từ Phụ hàng năm. 

Một phong bì được kèm theo thư này để Qúy vị có thể ghi danh những người thân yêu của mình (còn sống hay đã qua đời) vào tuần cửu nhật. Những người đã ghi danh sẽ được nhớ tới trong mỗi Thánh lễ trong toàn Giáo xứ Đức Maria, Mẹ Thiên Chúa và lời cầu nguyện hàng ngày của các tu sĩ dòng Phanxicô trong chín ngày trước Ngày Từ Phụ, từ ngày 8 tháng Sáu đến ngày 16 tháng Sáu. 

Chưa cần phải quyên góp gì khi ghi danh vào tuần cửu nhật., Qúy vị có thể gửi lại phong bì cho chúng tôi, mang đến văn phòng giáo xứ hoặc bỏ vào giỏ quyên góp.
